You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Capnography. Procedural sedation. Will accept RN with critical care, PACU, or procedural sedation experience minimum 2 years.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Ambulatory/outpatient clinic experience preferred.
Required Credentials: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply.
Unit Details: Adolescent and adult patient population. Outpatient pain clinic caring for patients with chronic pain and treatment-resistant depression. Procedure nurse role performing pain procedures using x-ray/fluoroscopy or ultrasound, including epidurals, peripheral nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, trigger point injections, botox, ketamine infusions, and lidocaine infusions. Many patients receive moderate sedation. Staffed by RNs, medical assistants, and radiology technologists. Must be able to wear a lead apron for up to 8 hours per day.
Shift & Scheduling: Variable day start times: 08:00-16:30 or 08:30-17:00.
Floating Requirements: Ability to float to other UCSF facilities.
