You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry skills required. Must be comfortable with ICU patients or willing to learn. No first-time travelers.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric recovery experience preferred.
Special Requests: Can no longer accommodate travel pairs or trios.
Unit Details: Infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Patient population includes ortho, ortho-spine, neuro, neuro-spine, pediatric, general, colo-rectal, ENT, bariatric, urology, plastics, vascular, robotics, and women's cases. Acuity ranges from ICU to outpatient. Patients boarded in PACU when house is at capacity; potential 1:4 ratio. LTAC/facility patients are prepped in PACU by a separate pre-op team but cared for by PACU. High volume of pediatric surgery.
Shift & Scheduling: Call required: Weekend nights per rotation. Currently we are at 12 hours of call per scheduling period, but that can increase or decrease.
Floating Requirements: Floats between PACUs and to sister location TMC Rincon.
