Special Requests:

• Eligibility as Previous/Current Employee: If you are working Per Diem at a Kindred facility you need to wait 6 months after your last shift to apply as a traveler. If you are a Full Time Employee with a Kindred facility you need to wait 12 months to apply as a traveler.

Unit Details:

• Inpatient rehabilitation for adults age 18+ recovering from strokes, brain or spinal-cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.
• Brain injury unit with monitored rooms, specialized beds, patient lifts, and dedicated therapy space and dining area.
• Dedicated stroke care unit with specialized equipment.
• Gymnasiums featuring high-tech therapy devices and treatments.
• Special apartment where patients and families can practice daily living tasks.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend requirement.

Floating Requirements:

• Float within units in the hospital: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury.
