Required Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge of Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Cardiac knowledge preferred.

Special Requests:

• Any special scheduling requests must be made with manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details:

• Uses Welch Allyn Vitals Neuron, Novameter glucose, Philips telemetry and MP2s, WOW with med drawers, and PyxisES dispensing system.
• Procedures performed on unit include chest tube management, wound vac management, and EKGs ad lib.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Equivalent of every other weekend (4 weekend shifts/4-week schedule).

Floating Requirements:

• Float to other M/S areas: general MS, ortho, PCU (Progressive Care Unit), and M/S surgical with oncology. We rotate unless skill mix is needed.
