An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years of critical care experience
• Desired specific skillset: Previous experience with management of cardiac patient: Strong telemetry interpretation, Management of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) including NSTEMI/STEMI, Experience with post-cardiac catheterization patients, Care of patient with heart failure (chronic & acute), Knowledge of cardiac pharmacology (antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, vasoactive medications (see list of specific IV infusion medications under Primary Case/Procedure Types), Ability to recognize and respond to cardiac deterioration and rapid changes

Required Credentials: BSN or Associates

Shift & Scheduling:

• 0700-1930 or 1900-0730
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Two weekends per month and every other holiday
• On Call/Call Back Requirements:  Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours

Floating Requirements: Inpatient units: oncology, neurology, orthopedics, med/surg, IMCU
