• Neuro and trauma care experience.

Unit Details:

• Typical procedures include neuro and spinal checks, C-collar placement, TLSO braces, chest tube management, PCA pumps, IV infusions, lumbar drains, feeding tube placement, and blood transfusions.
• Uses IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pumps, chest tubes, trachs, and patient lifts.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:

• Floats to stepdown units and med-surg units.
