Required Skills/Experience:
2 years PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience.
Will accept an M/S or Stepdown RN; the same credentialing applies to both skills.

Required Credentials:
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, with 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; 2 attempts allowed.
Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Unit Details:
Assignment may be on a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit based on greatest need and the traveler's skills.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend; every other holiday.

Floating Requirements:
Will need to float onsite within the skill set or to other sites if needed.
