Required Skills/Experience:
Open heart recovery experience required.
Post-cardiac procedure recovery experience required.

Required Credentials:
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of at least 80%, 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes post-open heart, post-cardiac procedure, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, thoracotomy, TAVR, and complex PCI patients.
Procedures include central line placements, arterial line placements, and chest tube placements.
Uses Edwards monitoring, GE monitoring, and SWAN Ganz catheters.
