Required Skills/Experience:
EKGs, IV starts, familiarity with TNKase administration, nebulizer treatments, initiating BiPAP, suture removal, assisting with casting, and vent management.

Required Credentials:
Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date.

Special Requests:
Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.
You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.
Time off requests require manager approval.

Unit Details:
Neonates to geriatrics.
General ED patients include trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health.
RN ratio 1:4, variable upon patient acuity within department.
Includes trauma ED beds, a behavioral seclusion room, and negative pressure rooms.
Uses FirstNet.
RT is only on dayshift but can be called in for unstable patients as needed.
Mid-level provider hours vary.
Hospitalist and receptionist available 24/7.
Critical care transport team assistance and ED tech support available.
Traditional nursing staffing includes (2) 7a-7p, (2) 7p-7a, (2) 9a-9p, and (1) 10a-10p. ED tech hours 6a-4p and 6p-4a.
Security is on site 24/7, but staff from all 6 units respond to patient escalations if needed.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
No call.
Holidays as needed.
