    Additional Information

    Required Skills/Experience: 2 years current NICU experience. Travelers must have Level 1B or higher NICU experience to be considered. Experience with ESC (Eat, Sleep, Console) babies. Experience with TTN (Transient Tachypnea) babies. Experience with blood sugar stabilization. Experience with babies needing respiratory support. Experience with High Flow NC (nasal cannula).

    Special Requests: Must have your own vehicle for this assignment. All requested time off and scheduling requests must be made at submission and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload or offer will not be approved and may lead to a rescinded offer. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted. Ability to start ASAP! This assignment allows expedited credentialing or pending credentials so you can start in under 3 weeks. Once your initial RTO requested is accepted, no further negotiations of terms will occur before your start date. Being ready and willing to quickly be credentialed by our team is a must.

    Unit Details: Level 1B NICU / continuing care nursery providing care for late preterm babies (35 weeks and beyond) and newborns with health issues. Uses cardiorespiratory monitors, LED phototherapy lights, radiant warming units, resuscitation and stabilization care centers, IV infusion pumps, isolettes, donor milk, and oxygen therapy. Uses Meditech Expanse.

    Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend. No call. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work 2 holiday blocks if scheduled/needed: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after.
