Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years current NICU experience. This is a Level 1B NICU, and travelers must have Level 1B or higher NICU experience to be considered for this need.
- Must have experience with ESC (Eat, Sleep, Console) babies, TTN (Transient Tachypnea) babies, blood sugar stabilization, babies needing respiratory support, and High Flow NC (nasal cannula).
Special Requests:
- Ability to start ASAP. This assignment allows expedited credentialing or pending credentials so you can start in under 3 weeks.
- Once your initial RTO is accepted, no further negotiations of terms will occur before your start date. Being ready and willing to quickly complete credentialing is required.
- All requested time off must be disclosed and verified up front, and all scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
- Scheduling requests at or after offer/interview will not be approved and may lead to a rescinded offer.
Unit Details:
- Level 1B NICU/continuing care nursery caring for late preterm babies (35 weeks and beyond) and newborns with health issues.
- Uses cardiopulmonary monitors, LED phototherapy lights, radiant warming units, resuscitation and stabilization care centers, IV infusion pumps, isolettes, donor milk, and oxygen therapy.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
- Every other weekend. Holidays required if needed.
- On-call: None.
- No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
