You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.

Required Skills/Experience:
Will accept first-time travelers if they have Level I trauma experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Level I trauma experience is preferred.
Pediatric experience is preferred.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests:
Must be able to work at the assigned location throughout the full term of the contractual engagement.

Unit Details:
The emergency department provides trauma, stroke, and STEMI care.
Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatric patients, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients; a pediatric emergency department is located inside the University Hospital emergency department.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Alternating weekends and holidays.
Must be able to work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract.
Must be able to take call.
Rotating shifts, holiday work, and work during inclement weather will be required.

Floating Requirements:
Floating occurs between the University Hospital and Women's Health emergency departments and ED Observation.
The associated psychiatric center is not included in floating.
