Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any)

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - Must have left in good status, if former employee.

Unit Details: Adult and neonatal patient population. Level II maternity unit with a Level 1 nursery. Admits babies >35 weeks gestation. Cares for gestational hypertensives, pre-eclampsia, twins, diabetics, TOLACs, and low-risk patients. Newborns needing higher level of care are transferred to the nearest NICU. 1 OR on the unit. 1:1 with active labors and 1:3 with postpartum couples. AWHONN staffing standards are in place. Resuscitation nurses and break nurses available.

Shift & Scheduling: On-call required during low census; may have one on-call shift/pay period. Every other weekend. Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Floating Requirements: Will position float between units: yes per unit needs.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
