Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 3 year experience; Apheresis equipment or dialysis; central lines and ports
- Ability to cannulate AV fistula and AV graft
- Apheresis treatment, blood prime, blood return, post apheresis treatment, red blood cell exchange, therapeutic plasma exchange/plasmapheresis, tunneled/non-tunneled catheter
- Patient population includes GVHD, BO, and CTCL; photopheresis performed; special equipment: CellEx
- Patient Ratio Experience: 1:1
- Skills: Initiate/ set up dialysis treatment, Ability to cannulate AV fistula, Ability to cannulate AV graft, Tunneled/ Non Tunneled Catheter, Work Settings, Apheresis, Apheresis treatment, Blood prime, Post Apheresis treatment, Red blood cell exchange, Therapeutic Plasma Exchange/Plasmapheresis, Post dialysis treatment, Blood return, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Infection control, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Additional Skills
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Acute Care Inpatient Dialysis preferred
- Chronic Outpatient Dialysis preferred
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
Required Credentials:
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Valid Driver’s License or Passport accepted.
Special Requests:
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing
- First-time travelers accepted only with previous Apheresis experience
- IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include Periop/OR RNs, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS
- Skills: Acute Care Inpatient Dialysis, Chronic Outpatient Dialysis, Apheresis Equipment or Dialysis
Shift & Scheduling:
- Rotating call
Floating Requirements:
- Floating is 100% required of all travelers; candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
