Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- Telemetry experience.
- Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications such as nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drips, heparin, and Bumex/Lasix.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin).
- Relief charge experience.
Unit Details:
- Cardiac step-down patient population includes CHF, MI, chest pain, arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, DKA, post-cardiac cath/stent, and post-pacemaker/ICD/ablation patients.
- Typical procedures include bedside cardioversion.
- Uses Zoll, Baxter pumps, lift equipment, and bladder scanners.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements:
- Float to all Med Surg units, Stepdown units, the COVID unit, and ER holding.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
