Required Skills/Experience:

• Telemetry experience.
• Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications such as nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drips, heparin, and Bumex/Lasix.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin).
• Relief charge experience.

Unit Details:

• Cardiac step-down patient population includes CHF, MI, chest pain, arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, DKA, post-cardiac cath/stent, and post-pacemaker/ICD/ablation patients.
• Typical procedures include bedside cardioversion.
• Uses Zoll, Baxter pumps, lift equipment, and bladder scanners.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to all Med Surg units, Stepdown units, the COVID unit, and ER holding.
