Required Skills/Experience:
Telemetry experience required.
Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, and Bumex/Lasix required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin) preferred.
Relief charge experience preferred.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes patients with CHF, MI, chest pain, arrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, DKA, and patients post-cardiac cath/stent and post-pacer/ICD/ablation.
Patient ratio is 1:4, with stretch staffing at a 1:5 ratio.
Equipment includes Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipment, and a bladder scanner.
Bedside cardioversion is performed on the unit.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Floats to all Med-Surg units, stepdown units, the COVID unit, and ER holding.
