Preferred Skills/Experience:

• ICU level of care experience preferred.
• Precepting experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials:

• TCAR certification preferred.

Unit Details:

• Patient ratios: 1:5 for PCU level and 1:6 for MST level.
• Uses VS machines, EKG, bladder scanning, glucometers, and continuous pulse oximetry.
• Typical procedures include Foley and NGT insertions and wound care.
• Unit is upskilling MS staff to take PCU-level patients and has become the hospital's official trauma PCU.

Shift & Scheduling:

• On-call: none.
• Flexible with scheduling.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating within scope of practice.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
