Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience with scrub and circulating required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
• Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric patient population.
• Cares for patients with coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, myocarditis, aortic stenosis, mitral valve prolapse, tricuspid valve regurgitation, heart failure, pulmonary failure, aortic aneurysm repair, and cardiac tumor.
• Procedures/cases include CABG, valve replacement/repair, ECMO insertion/decannulation, left atrial appendage clipping, ascending aortic aneurysm repair/replacement with graft, and Impella 5.5 insertion/removal.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Mon-Fri.
• Call split amongst CV staff, approximately 14 per month, which includes weekend call.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating required to Vascular and General.
