Additional Information
There is no shift differential for AM/PM. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must be able to do vascular and robotic cases.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Endovascular experience preferred.
- Moderate sedation experience preferred.
- Ability to do ortho, ENT, GYN, and general cases preferred.
Unit Details:
- Unit uses Hana beds, Axis Bed, Trios Bed, Levo positioner, ROSA, Mazor, Da Vinci robots, Stryker towers, Storz towers, ENT microscope, coblators, NIMS, spine/neuro microscope, ORA machine, eye microscope, tourniquets, hybrid room, Medistem, Vasoview, cell saver, perfusion pump, and ECMO machine.
- Typical procedures include CABG with or without valves, pericardial window, AAA and endovascular AA, ECMO, convergent Maze, Impella/balloon pump, fistula, bypass procedures, carotid or femoral endarterectomy, VATS (robotic, lap, or open), robotic esophagectomy, BKA or AKA, temporal artery bypass, thrombectomy/embolectomy, and insertion or removal of peritoneal dialysis catheters.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 8- or 10-hour shifts.
- Weekday call starts at the end of shift and runs until 7:00 AM the next morning.
- Weekend call is 24 hours.
- Typically 1 call day per week and 1 weekend of call per month.
Floating Requirements:
- Will work within the Surgery Department only.
- Case load may vary and can include general, ortho, ENT, GYN, podiatry, urology, plastic, pain, or eye cases.
