Additional Details:
Required Skills / Experience: Vent care, hemodynamic monitoring, medication titrations, arterial line, IABP, Impella, EKOS, CRRT (PrismaFlex), Chest tube, Swan ganz catheter, FloTrac monitoring, titratable drip management, hypothermia protocol
- CVICU: Swan ganz catheters, arterial lines, hemodynamic monitoring, chest tubes, CRRT, medication titration, IABP, Impella, EKOS, vent management, Tandem Life/Tandem Lung
- MICU: ART lines, trach care, chest tubes, vasopressor usage, sedation usage, central lines
- Neuro ICU: Trach care/maintenance, art line, vent/ETT, EVD, ICP monitoring (can teach)
- Surgical ICU: Trach care, art line, chest tube, wound care, drip management (pressors and sedation)
RNs required to read/measure tele strips
Preferred Skills / Experience: Surgical ICU: CRRT
Unit / Facility Details: Parking: Staff parking deck on campus
Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.
Will accept first time travelers with at least 2-years experience and Cerner or EPIC experience
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, may work back to back weekends (rare)
No Call Requirement
Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy
Schedule Cycle: 6 weeks
Floating Requirement: Any like unit/patient location (MS-MS, MS-ICU task, MS-ER/MS holds; ICU-ICU, ICU-MS task or limit of 3, ICU-ER/ICU holds)
