Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years experience required.
Required Credentials:
- Riverside Regional Medical Center does not accept license hits.
Special Requests:
- You are not allowed to work for both Riverside Travel assignments and Riverside Per Diem contracts simultaneously. You must choose one or the other.
Unit Details:
- Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
- Patient population includes sepsis, trauma, DKA, neuro, CABG, STEMI, post vascular surgeries, and renal failure.
- Surgical ICU cares for patients with traumatic injuries, surgical complications, neuro patients (TNK, etc.), and open-heart surgery patients.
- Medical ICU cares for critically ill patients with exacerbated medical comorbidities.
- Cardiac Care Unit cares for patients who have had cardiac procedures requiring additional monitoring.
- Oncology ICU cares for oncology patients who are critically ill or require chemo inductions.
- All ICU units care for DKA, ETOH withdrawal, and other patients requiring increased level of care.
- MICU: 1:2 ratio.
- SICU: 1:2 ratio.
- CCU: 1:3 ratio.
- OICU: 1:3 ratio.
- CVT: 1:4 ratio.
- iCare experience required.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Flexible scheduling preferred.
- Every other weekend required, including Saturday and Sunday.
- If any holiday occurs during the assignment period, the applicant may be scheduled to work.
Floating Requirements:
- Float within the complex to SICU, MICU, OICU, CCU, and CVT. Can be pulled to ED to take an appropriate assignment and can be pulled to MS or ED to task.
