Required Skills/Experience: Floating experience does not count toward experience requirement. Correctional facility experience does not count toward experience requirement. Must have two years ER experience - trauma Level I/II in the past three years. Level III or CAH not acceptable experience. RN must read own tele, also have monitor tech as well. STEMI and Stroke receiving- will ship out if stroke intervention required.
Special Requests: If you require an interview with the manager, please make a note of it in your special requests. Travel pairs cannot request the same schedule. Cannot have an employment gap in the past 4+ months. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Shift & Scheduling: 36-hour guarantees only (no 48s) - can pick up additional shifts. Varied shift start times: 7, 10, 11, 12, 1, 3. Modified self-scheduling. Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week block. Holiday Requirements: Typically 2 of the 5 (count the eves).
Floating Requirements: Shared schedule with Foothills - typically scheduled ahead of time, infrequent last-minute floating. 15-minute drive to Foothills freestanding ER.
