Required Skills/Experience:
3 years of recent Emergency Department experience required.

Required Credentials:
Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed, and updated every 3 years.
Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score; 2 attempts allowed; completed within 1 year of start and updated every 3 years.
Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; Pharmacology 1 or 2, minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed, completed prior to start, and updated every 3 years thereafter.

Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details:
The emergency departments treat adult and pediatric patients.
The emergency departments accept EMS patients and have X-ray and CT capabilities.
Point-of-care lab testing is available; RNs, paramedics, and radiology technologists are trained to run labs.

Floating Requirements:
Will float among all 4 freestanding sites during the contract: Avon, Castleton, Plainfield and Indy South.
