Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.

Required Skills/Experience:
Will accept first-time travelers if they have Level I trauma experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Level I trauma experience preferred.
Pediatric experience preferred.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Must be able to work the full term of the contractual engagement.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatric patients, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
The emergency department handles Level 1 trauma, stroke, and STEMI cases and includes a pediatric emergency department within the University Hospital emergency department.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Must be able to work every other weekend and at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract.
Rotating shifts, holiday work, and work during inclement weather are required.
Must be able to take call.

Floating Requirements:
Float between the University Hospital and Women's Health emergency departments and the ED observation unit.
The psych center associated with the emergency department is not included in floating.
