Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
Unit Details: Ratios: 1:4 in zones, 1:6 in Fast Track, 1:5 in OBS, 1:1 ICU/Trauma. Common diagnoses/patient population: trauma, sepsis, chest pain, shortness of breath, strokes/TPA. RNs must read and interpret their own telemetry strips. Fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirements vary based on department needs. Holiday requirements vary based on department needs.
Floating Requirements: Will float to OBS unit and Freestanding Creighton ER at least once a week.
