Required Skills/Experience:

• Float experience does not count toward the unit experience requirement.
• Telemetry and drip experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• ESI triage training preferred.

Required Credentials:

• ER checklist and competency exam required.
• Math and/or dysrhythmia exam required.
• Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned Relias exams that must be taken immediately (within 48 hrs). If you fail the exam twice, this may result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.

Unit Details:

• Patient population includes neuro-medicine and neurosurgical subspecialties, including seizure management, congestive heart failure, sepsis, acute MI management, acute stroke management (ischemic, hemorrhagic, SAH, etc.), trauma management (MVC, falls, GSW, etc.), and diabetes management.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
• No call.
