Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience in a comprehensive stroke center and high-volume >100,000 visit ED preferred.
- Previous HCA experience preferred.
Special Requests:
- Can't commit to block scheduling.
Unit Details:
- Patient ratios: 4:1 typically for medical patients; up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds.
- Techs available in the cardiac monitoring unit, internal processing area, and triage; unit clerks on days and nights.
- Uses Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
- Serves a multicultural community with over 120 languages in the surrounding zip code.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- Scheduling must meet the needs of the department.
Floating Requirements:
- No floating outside of the ED; must be open to floating to all sections within the ED.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
