Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Acute care experience must be current/today, working consistently in the last 12 months, and in the specialty for which they are applying. Proficient in IV starts. Experience with telemetry monitoring.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience is preferred.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: Submission of RTO required at the time of application. 7 consecutive days off may be granted at the facility discretion for a 14 weeks contract. Cannot apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities.
Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population. The Oncology Pod is a specialized unit within the Emergency Department and one of the few dedicated oncology emergency care settings in the country. It is designed to meet the urgent and complex needs of cancer patients while preserving the fast-paced, high-acuity environment of emergency medicine.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend coverage per needs of the unit.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
