Additional Details:
ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any)
Required Skills/Experience:
- 1 year of recent experience.
- Must have experience in trauma or teaching ER and large facility experience.
- PASS + call out without art-line.
Required Credentials:
- Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Preferred Credentials:
- PMAB Training preferred.
Special Requests:
- RTO must be listed at time of submission.
- Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
- All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details:
- Airway management, arterial line management, IV drips, and triage skills for ER/ER holding.
- Ratios may range from 1:1-2+.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Variable 4x12s: day 7:00-19:00 or night 19:00-7:00.
- No call.
- Weekends required; can be scheduled more than every other.
- Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN, and CNAs.
Floating Requirements:
- May be required to float to other units and facilities based on skill sets, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent.
- If floating to Seaside for consecutive shifts, hotel will be offered.
- Facility will give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
