    Additional Details:

    References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

    Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.

    Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. Level II or III trauma experience preferred.

    Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Previous Providence-affiliated permanent employees must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. Non-holiday DTO: 5 days / 1 week added to the end of contract. More than 5 days DTO will be sent for manager consideration.

    Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric emergency patient population, including adult/pediatric ER, ambulance triage, ED holding, and lobby triage. Breathing treatments, chest tube set-up/care, CPAP/BiPap, procedure sedation, RSI - Rapid Sequence Intubation Drugs, trach care, vents, blood/blood products administration, cardioversion / defibrillation, cooling / warming blanket, CRRT/dialysis, obtain 12 Lead EKG, and rapid infuser.

    Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Schedule posted every 6 weeks. Shift start times 0700, 0900, 1200, 1500, 1900.

    Floating Requirements: Float to Swedish EDs/sister facilities and different campuses.

    Details:

    • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
