RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).
Required Skills/Experience: -RN with Stroke Program experience at a certified Stroke Center, working directly with a stroke patient population. -chart audit experience --Will consider ER, neuro inpatient experience, if no stroke coordinator experience, please SCREEN for manager to review.
Required Credentials: HealthStream Certs required: -Code BART for Inpatient Nurses -Treatment Pathway for Inpatient Nurses -Yale Swallow Protocol -Individualizing Stroke Care Plans and Education -SNAP Stroke Neuro Assessment by Providence -- 8 hour stroke education cert within the last year
Shift & Scheduling:
- Monday–Friday schedule (8- or 10-hour shifts)
Floating Requirements: -FLOAT to Cherry Hill and Redmond
