An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Credentials:
Associate degree or certificate.

Unit Details:
Charting uses Epic Remote Client/Remote Care.
The assignment includes OASIS admissions at all time points, episode management, physician calls and care coordination, timely EMR documentation, and wound, IV, port, lab draw, and chronic disease management.
The caseload is 20-25 patients, averaging 4.5 visits per day; visit volume may be lower on days with higher travel.
Daily travel may range from 25-60 miles depending on the territory, patient census, and staff availability, with efforts to minimize travel.

Shift & Scheduling:
Start and end times may be flexible depending on census.
Every 5th weekend and holiday rotation.
On-call 2-3 times per month.
Travelers may be placed on call during low census hours.
The unit is closed during holidays.

Floating Requirements:
Potential floating to Medford, Antigo, and WI Rapids is limited because the highest need is currently in Wausau.
