    Additional Information

    References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

    Required Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is required. Chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration.

    Required Credentials: Current chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card to administer chemotherapy. You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (See JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure.

    Special Requests: Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If clinician has questions, please email the AM.

    Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Treats solid tumors, malignant hematology including multiple myeloma, lymphoma, and leukemias, iron deficiency, sickle cell crisis, blood product transfusions, transplant rejections, Crohn's disease, and multiple sclerosis. Red blood exchange, bone marrow biopsy/aspirations, access mediports, and PICC lines.

    Shift & Scheduling: M-F. No weekends or holidays.

    Floating Requirements: Within the Cancer Institute.
