Required Skills/Experience:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required skills include telemetry, cardiac telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring on the unit, use of rapid response teams, post-MI, pre-/post-cardiac catheterization, feeding tube care and management, pre-/post-hemodialysis management, renal failure, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, heparin protocols, CVA, chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac), external CPAP/BIPAP, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, interpretation of ABGs, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, non-invasive airway management, tracheostomy management, isolation precautions, and wound care/wound vac.
Must have 1 prior travel assignment.

Required Credentials:
You must have compact license or MD license.

Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Patient population includes advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, COPD, COVID, pneumonia, flu, hypertensive urgency, chronic renal failure, stable angina, acute MI, and status post PCI.
Unit care includes ultrafiltration, prostacyclin infusions, intravenous inotropes, continuous diuretic infusions, heparin drips, and post-cardiac-catheterization care without sheath management.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every third weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
