Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
For DC locations – You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending (See JD). MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure.
For MD Locations – You must have compact license or MD license.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
Required Credentials: Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam required with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
Unit Details: Adult patient population. Cares for patients with CHG, diabetes, COPD/asthma, sepsis, pneumothorax, ESRD/dialysis, hypertension/hypotension, ETOH withdrawal, and general surgery. Experience with chest tubes, PCA infusions, bedside monitoring, non-titratable drips, and IV infusions.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Weekend coverage will be directed based upon operational needs. No call required.
Floating Requirements: Float to Tele and/or MS as needed (these units have a 1:5/1:6 ratio).
