Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience: Experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, art lines, neuro-stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred.
Unit Details: IMCU patients require moderately complex assessments, moderately intensive therapies and interventions, and moderate levels of nursing vigilance. General medical patient population includes post-ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory patients. Cares for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Extremely busy, fast-paced environment.
Shift & Scheduling: No call. Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period. Schedule varies based upon department needs and can include weekends. Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Eve + Day = 1 holiday.
Floating Requirements: May be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
