An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience: 1 travel assignment required. Ability to read and interpret strips is required.
Required Credentials: EKG exam required during compliance. Education: Associate Degree or Certificate
Unit Details: Observation/short stay unit. Common diagnoses include anemia, cellulitis, COPD, and dehydration. Cares for pre- and post-op urology and GI patients. Manages Cardizem, Nitro, insulin, and heparin drips. Average stay up to 48 hrs. High volume of admissions and discharges.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday. No on-call requirements.
Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed, including IMC and CTU units.
