Required Skills/Experience: Radiology experience required. Diagnostic imaging and IR, procedural sedation, pacemaker interrogation. Ability to wear lead apron as needed. Able to go into MRI as needed.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience in either ICU/ED/PACU, or procedural area preferred.
Required Credentials: RNs only: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply.
Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population. RN will provide nursing needs for patients having imaging services including CT/MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology procedures. Patient needs include IV support, prep for procedures, moderate sedation and monitoring, recovery, and instructions. All diagnoses.
Shift & Scheduling: 10 hour days with variable start (7 or 8).
Floating Requirements: Ability to float to other UCSF facilities; this cost center covers Mount Zion, Parnassus, and Mission Bay.
