Required Skills/Experience:
Neuro IR/stroke experience required.
Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Critical care experience preferred.
Unit Details:
Nurses only: BMC does not have telemetry technicians.
The unit performs CT/US procedures with 12-16 cases daily and may see 6-7 patients per day.
Shift & Scheduling:
The day schedule is 40hr, with a combination of 8hr, 10hr, and 12hr shifts; there is no set day off.
On-call coverage includes nights, weekends, and 1 major holiday, with 1 night/week and 1 weekend per schedule period.
The call-back time is thirty (30) minutes; on-call rooms are available if required.
