Required Skills/Experience:
Must be willing to train in nursery and recovery.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 1 year ICU/inpatient experience preferred.

Required Credentials:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Credentials:
Bachelor's degree preferred.

Unit Details:
Clinical work includes family birthing; antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, including complications; procedural sedation; rapid sequence intubation; fetal monitoring; advanced cardiac monitoring; NST; epidural care; induction; trauma alerts; critical drips; newborn care from delivery to discharge; CVP and A-line monitoring; ventilator/BiPAP support; hearing screening; pre-term care; infant security; CCHD screening; and phototherapy.
The unit uses a rapid infuser.

Floating Requirements:
Assists nursing staff in other departments as requested when the need arises.
