Required Skills/Experience:
Phlebotomy experience required within the last 12 months.
Will draw own labs- must have 2+ years or recent experience in drawing blood.

Required Credentials:
Must have have graduated from an accredited nursing school.
RNs must have an accredited nursing degree through the ACEN or CCNE to be considered.

Special Requests:
Interview required.
RTO must be listed at the time of submission.
RTO is not allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment.

Unit Details:
L&D includes tubs.
Perinatal ratios are 1:3 on average but can go up to 4 depending on acuity.
L&D RNs perform neonatal workups for sepsis and administer neonatal IV antibiotics and medications.
The unit handles 5100 deliveries a year; a delivery each day is not uncommon.

Shift & Scheduling:
Maximum RTO: 4 days.

Floating Requirements:
Travelers will float between L&D and Perinatal.
