Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Previous program development and implementation experience with a minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience.
- Thorough knowledge of TJC Disease-Specific and other regulatory requirements.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Recent experience in orthopedics preferred.
Preferred Credentials:
- Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner certification preferred.
Unit Details:
- Provides care coordination and education for joint replacement patients from pre-operative class through recovery, including patient and family education, risk factor identification, psychosocial support, follow-up throughout recovery, and community resources.
- Supports development, implementation, and evaluation of the Joint Replacement Program and related educational materials for patients, families, and clinical staff.
- Uses Microsoft Word and Excel.
