Required Skills/Experience:

• Epic EMR experience in a like unit within the last 12 months required.

Unit Details:

• Cares for geriatric and adult medical/surgical and telemetry patients.
• Telemetry ratios are currently 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights.
• Med/Surg ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend rotation.
• Estimated work week 36-hours with the possibility of overtime.
• Not part of a regular call rotation, but may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census.
• If called in, must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.

Floating Requirements:

• May be required to float to Fort Madison or Henry County campus at times.
• Floating is required for non-critical care inpatient units, including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients.
• Travelers with critical care experience may occasionally float to CCU.
