Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias required. Blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, starting IVs, insulin, PCA, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury, ortho trauma, peripheral nerve block catheters, total joint replacements, surgical drains, chest tubes - Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, isolation precautions, and wound care/wound vac required. Trauma experience.
Required Credentials: RNs only - clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests: No medical marijuana cards accepted. If a shift is missed, please work to make up as soon as possible if able.
Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Patients come from ED, OR, or ICU. Geriatric trauma patients age 55+ with trauma. Trauma cases include abuse/violence victims, MVA, MVC, and falls. Acute care surgery cases include appendicitis, gallbladders, hernia repairs, fistulas, wounds, burns, and TBI.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. BJC policy: Every other weekend required. No call required. No more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract.
Floating Requirements: Float within service line.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
