Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Behavioral health experience preferred.
• Heparin drips preferred.

Special Requests:

• No locals within 50 miles.
• Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.

Unit Details:

• Adult patient population.
• At-risk adult med-surg population including ETOH/drug withdrawal, delirium, overdose, and altered mental status.
• Secured unit with whole-unit video monitoring, ligature alarms, anti-barricade doors, and a badge-secured entrance.
• Charge nurse and supervisor on every shift.
• Patient ratios vary: days 4-5, nights 5-6, weekends 4-6.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.
• Flexible contract hours of 36 or 48 per week can be discussed during interview.
• On-call may be required.
• Must work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract.

Floating Requirements:

• May float to other med-surg units.
