An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Credentials:
- Associate degree or certificate required.
Unit Details:
- MAP unit - Medical and Pediatrics; travelers do not take pediatric patients.
- Adult patient population includes respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions such as seizure disorders and multiple sclerosis, chronic back pain, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.
- Typical patient ratios on days 1:4-5 and on nights 1:6-7.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend and every other holiday.
- No call.
Floating Requirements:
- Float to all inpatient units as needed.
