Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 1-2 years minimum specialty experience in post-partum, antepartum, or LDRP unit.
- Care of patients on magnesium.
- Preeclampsia.
Unit Details:
- Provides postpartum, antepartum, and gynecological care to a high-risk population and well newborn care as part of rooming-in service.
- High-risk obstetric unit with high-risk antepartum patients; level 4 NICU and level 4 high-risk labor and delivery support.
- Manages high- and low-risk couplets, at-risk newborns needing antibiotics and/or oral glucose stabilization, newborns 35 weeks and greater, and some gyn overflow.
- Many patients are on magnesium and/or insulin drips.
- Neonate, infant, and adult patient population.
- Ratios: 1:3 stable normal couplets, 1:2 if it’s couplets with complications (late preterm, mom on Mag, etc).
Shift & Scheduling:
- No call.
- Every other weekend.
- 12 weekend shifts per contract.
Floating Requirements:
- Floating: If they have labor skills, then possible.
