You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:
2 years experience. Minimum 1 year in a dedicated Neuro specialty ICU.
First-time travelers accepted if required experience is met.
Competent in hourly neurological assessment.
Intracranial pressure management.
External ventricular drain (EVD) / intraventricular drain management.
Subarachnoid hemorrhage management.
Post-thrombectomy management.
Post-craniotomy management (post brain tumor resection).

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:
Adult patient population.
High-acuity, fast-paced neurosurgical ICU.
Cares for craniotomy tumor resections, aneurysm clippings, seizure mapping, spine cases, neuro primary trauma patients, embolic stroke patients (tPA, TNK, IR/IA tPA, thrombectomy), hemorrhagic stroke patients, subarachnoid hemorrhage patients, and SDH/EDH.

Shift & Scheduling:
Day shift 7:00-19:00 and night shift 19:00-7:00; various days of week.
No call.
Weekend requirement: Yes per unit needs.
10 RTO days max approved.

Special Requests:
RTO is not allowed during September 2 - September 12, 2026; October 25 - November 4, 2026; November 22 - December 2, 2026; and December 20 - January 3, 2027.

Floating Requirements:
May float to sister facilities in the metro region per facility needs.
