Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details: Patient ratios: 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing. Uses ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000. Procedures performed on unit: insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions.

Shift & Scheduling: Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. Self-scheduling to an extent; Manager will move shifts to balance out schedule.

Floating Requirements: Contract labor is first to float. If the staffing need is in med/surg, contract labor is expected to float to med/surg and take the assignment.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
