References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must have 3 years of ACUTE ONCOLOGY experience
- Must be able to keep up with a High volume and pace.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Prefer outpatient and GI experience. But candidates need more than just clinic experience.
- Prefer prior nurse navigator or nurse coordinator experience
Unit/Facility Details:
- Oncology Nurse Navigator/Nurse Coordinator
- Providers: 5 Primary GI medical oncologists. 2 radiation oncologists that rotate through. 3-4 surgeons (they have they own coordinator/navigators)
- Staff: 3 GI nurse navigators, travelers will not work alone and will have resources
Unit/Facility Details: Cases/Ratios: Could have 2-3 or 10 referrals a day but would carry that patient until they were passed off to the next coordinator/phase of care (treatment)
