You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Cardiohelp experience required. Pump specialist must be able to manage a Cardiohelp system, practice drills, and keep up on any education as needed.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
• Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:

• Neonate, infant, and pediatric patient population.
• ECMO department is a separate team that specializes in managing ECMO pumps. Team members, when not managing the pump, staff as nurses in the ICU departments. There are three ICUs: CCU, PICU, and NICU.
• Pump specialist for patients on ECMO for either cardiac or non-cardiac reasons. Patients may be on VA ECMO or VV ECMO and the specialist must know how to manage both. If there are no ECMO patients, the specialist will work in the ICUs as a bedside nurse caring for cardiac, non-cardiac, or NICU patients based on unit needs.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every 3rd weekend required.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU.
