You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: BMT/Cellular Therapy experience required. Conscious sedation required. First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of experience.

Unit Details: Intermediate level of care for patients ages 0-18; obstetric patients younger than 18 with a new Hem/Onc/BMT diagnosis are considered case by case. Patients with specific pediatric oncology diagnoses may be followed until age 25. Patient population includes pediatric hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant patients, including leukemia, brain tumors, bone tumors, sarcoma, lymphomas, blood diseases, immunological diseases, storage diseases, and graft-versus-host disease. Chemotherapy administration on this unit and other units as needed. Bone marrow transplant infusion on this unit and PICU as needed. Moderate sedation for procedures such as bone marrow aspiration and lumbar puncture. Provides support to Hem/Onc/BMT patients on other units, including chemotherapy support, BMT expertise, and central line support.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: Yes. No call required. RTO restrictions: 1 week max.

Floating Requirements: Float within the hospital only; no floating to sister hospitals.
