In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.
Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
Required Credentials: Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed; updated every 3 years thereafter in specialty. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Unit Details: Level 1 pediatric trauma facility. Direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Coordinate patient care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support efficient surgical workflows, clear communication, and high-quality clinical outcomes. Circulating nurse responsibilities include monitoring patient status, documenting care in the EHR, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation. Provide scrub nurse support by maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and assisting surgeons to promote procedural efficiency and patient safety.
Shift & Scheduling: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
